It was Longlevens who started the brighter however and deservedly took the lead, after an Ed Smyllee header was converted in by Ellis Sausman.

Abingdon dominated possession in the second half and drew level through Cian McCormack. Longlevens gave away possession to close to their own goal, resulting in an Abingdon corner. McCormack then lost his man and powered a header past Ash Wintle who had no chance from close range.

Longlevens however regained the lead short after when Shaun OConnor found himself in space, he turned and hit a pile-driving shot from 25 yards which deceived Eddie Cavanagh in the Abingdon goal as the ball was diverted in off his legs.

The game then swang back Abingdon's way, when a cross found Tom Butler. He converted via a superb ding header from six yards.

However it was Longlevens who snatched the game, after Brad Martin found space on the left and side. His cross found Jack Sklenar who turned the ball home at the near post.

Abingdon will count themselves unlucky not to get at least one point from this game, considering the possession they had in the second period. Longlevens will be happy with the win, despite their overall performance.
