Our new LED floodlighting system at Saw Mills has now been installed with just the final lux test to be carried out next week to complete the works. This system replaced our legacy metal halide floodlights which is obsolete and inefficient technology.

The project began in September 2024 and after a competitive quotation process involving multiple approved suppliers, Wiseman Lighting were selected to carry out the project. The project involved a complete new system with four new 18m columns, cabling and a total of 16 LED luminaires.

Following the granting of planning permission in late 2025, the club were successful in obtaining grant funding from the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF) and the Enovert Community Trust to make this project feasible.

Works began in May 2026 and were completed last week meaning we are ready (pending a lux test) for the upcoming season where they will be used not only by our first team in the uhlsport Hellenic League and under 18s in the Cheltenham Youth Floodlit League, but also our reserves who will be using Saw Mills for their Gloucestershire County League campaign this season.
