5 games set to take place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Off the back of only two matches last weekend, Longlevens face a bumper fixture list this coming weekend which will see five games played between Saturday and Monday over a busy easter schedule.

The first team return to action, facing a double header with back to back trips to reading, to face opponents from opposite ends of the Hellenic League Premier table.

On Saturday they travel to Waterside Park to face red hot title chasers Thatcham Town. The kingfishers are unbeaten in ALL competitions since 24th October 2017 and have recently reached the Buildbase FA Vase final. It’s fair to say the hosts enter the game as favourites and are one of only two sides in the league that Longlevens have yet to take any points off during their tenure in the Hellenic League.

At the time of writing Mark Moore welcomes Brad Barnard into his squad for this game.

On bank holiday Monday another trip to the rivermoore stadium awaits, this time to visit relegation threatened Woodley United. In a game which will be equally as tough Moores men will be aiming to win at the second attempt at the ground after a 0-0 draw with co-tenants Highmoore Ibis a few weeks ago. Squad TBA.

The Reserve team travel to Hamfields to face Sharpness in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League. They will be looking to bounce back from last weeks drubbing at the hands of Charlton Rovers.

Levens are boosted by the return of top goalscorer Connor Linham and Jamie Goodwin from injury. A win would put them 4 points clear of their hosts who currently occupy sixth place with 3 to play. Longlevens will need to ensure maximum points for the remainder of the season if they’re to keep up the pace for a top 3 finish in their debut season in the league.

The third team will also be looking to return to winning ways as they host Longford in Stroud League division two.

Last Saturdays defeat was their first in 15 league games and with an unavailable/injury list still growing managers English and MacDonald have demanded a reaction from the players.

Martel Sutherland comes in after suspension. Joe Pasquet could be in contention for a start after good showing last week, Tom Shaw, Nathan Walsh and Antanas Brazdys make way.

Maximum points are needed for the side in to keep a promotion push and any title challenge on track. Longlevens currently occupy top spot on goal difference.

The fourth team return to action after a blank weekend last Saturday and face a tricky away tie to promotion rivals Stroud Harriers in a 2nd v 4th tie.

Longlevens are missing Luke Davies and Alex Thomas. However manager Grady Izatt has called in youth players Aiden Hernaman, Callum Ashurst and James Beck to bolster the squad.
