Longlevens welcomed close rivals Tuffley Rovers to saw mills end, hoping to continue their good start to the season and avenge last season 0-3 defeat.
On a blisteringly hot afternoon the game was fairly even throughout, with both sides exchanging some feisty tackles but neither goalkeeper was overly worked.
It was in the second half when the game came to life. Ash Davies helped a high ball into box and Brett James found himself on his own in the Longlevens penalty area to control a volley into the bottom corner.
Tuffley could of stretched their lead when Shane Bradley found space from a corner, his powerful header was well saved by Ash Wintle, who also smothered the follow up to keep Longlevens in the game.
It was in the dying minutes of the game when Longlevens levelled. After successive corners, Ollie Longs goal bound header deflected off Shaun O'Connor and crossed the line to spark celebrations from the Longlevens players and crowd.
