Longlevens booked their place in the Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup, with an emphatic replay win against Fairford Town at Saw Mills End.
It was the hosts who gained an early advantage however when a defensive mix up allowed Jason Milhench to sweep the ball in at the second time of asking.
Longlevens got themselves back into the game on the 20 minute mark, when Dave Merrick was played in and he was able curled the ball past Mitchell, going in off the left hand post.
Longlevens then took the lead as Brad Martin was allowed too much space inside the penalty area, he span and curled a shot into the bottom left hand corner with his weaker foot.
Longlevens increased their lead just after half time, when another defensive mix up, this time from the visitors allowing Dave Merrick in. Similar to Martins goal in the first game his first touch took him round Mitchell and he finished with his second touch for his second of the match.
Fairford pushed hard to get a foot back into the game and brought on Manager Jody Bevan who played as a central striker in a front three. However the Longlevens back 5 stood firm and as the game became stretched their lead increased.
Brad Vanstone was released down the left, his pass found Jay Kennedy and he shot low into the bottom left hand corner. Then with five minutes to play Brad Martin was released down the right hand side, he cooly finished for his brace and Longlevens fifth.
