Longlevens welcome former premiership star to Saw Mills

Former Fulham striker Barry Hayles, now applying his trade in the Hellenic Premier with Windsor visits the county today as Longlevens host Windsor for the very first time.

He will be hoping to have a better afternoon than last time the two sides met was back in October where Longlevens ran out 3-0 winners.

Defenders Luke Kavanagh and Craig Martin that day ,are not included in Mark Moores matchday squad this time out due to inavailability. Longlevens could hand a start to youngster Toby Shelton who impressed in last weeks defeat at Ascot at Left Back.

Meanwhile in the other games for the club, Bibury travel to Longford Lane to play Longlevens Reserves in their final home league fixture of the season

Bibury aim to reverse their earlier 1-0 defeat at the hands of levens and are are keen to add to their present points tally

Levens will be without key striker Connor Linham but still have potent striking options with the eagerly awaited return of Antanas Brazyds, and the possible inclusion of Nick Bradley who aims to swap pot holes for goals

Scott Dee will form a formidable partnership at the heart of defence with Josh Westcarr

No game for the third team, who hosted Bush in midweek and ran out 4-1 winners. More youngsters continued to impress with first team candidates Tom Powell Davies and Jack Cornell influencing the game.

Longlevens 4ths travel to Leonard Stanley Reserves this weekend and hope to make up for their poor performance against Randwick last week.

The mighty 4ths are still in the mix for a promotion although slipping to 3rd in the league after the midweek fixtures saw Chalford take up 2nd place.

Levens are once again lacking fire power this week and will be looking to top scorer Lee Rutter to lead the line.

Lee Blackmore and Chris Knight are back in the fold after recent absences.

Manager Grady Izatt is set to name 17 year old Callum Ashurst at the heart of his defence after his impressive debut season.

This will be the first of two meetings between the sides this month in games that will influence promotion and relegation in Stroud 5.
